BioTerrain Testing

     These tests enable us to get a thorough understanding of patients’ underlying chemistry and pinpoints where the imbalances are and how to best prioritize the treatment of them. It is a way of looking at a persons “soil” in which health or illness grow.
     Using urine and saliva tests it is possible to develop a specific protocol to suit the patients nutritional needs. These tests were developed to find underlying causes of illness before they manifest as more serious symptoms. The tests determine levels of Vitamin C and Calcium, malabsorption in the digestive tract, adrenal function, cellular oxidation (free radical damage), and zinc and mineral levels. A urine chem. strip is also done which measures 13 different urine categories, and screens for health problems including infections, tissue degeneration, diabetes and some forms of liver and kidney dysfunction.
     Louis Pasteur realized at the end of his life that maybe his germ theory was not the last work on disease. On his deathbed he said, “bacteria is nothing, the terrain is all.” What better way to determine the underlying cause of an imbalance than to view the soil from which it grows.
